Abstract
ABSTRACTOnce considered a disease under control, tuberculosis is again increasing in prevalence. Multidrug-resistant strains have developed that make treatment more challenging than ever before. This article summarizes the latest and most important information that should help nurse practitioners develop an index of suspicion that a patient may have this debilitating disease.
