Abstract
Pelvic congestion syndrome (PCS) is an often poorly understood and often overlooked etiology of chronic pelvic pain. When clinical and ultrasound examinations are normal, further diagnostic imaging can be helpful to obtain the diagnosis. Once identified, pelvic congestion syndrome can often be treated successfully with transcatheter embolization.
