Abstract
⺠Vibrations of thin functionally graded plates are investigated. ⺠The tolerance modeling method is applied. ⺠The asymptotic-tolerance model is proposed. ⺠Vibrations are described by differential equations with slowly-varying coefficients. ⺠Higher frequencies are obtained by the tolerance and asymptotic-tolerance models.
