Abstract

Coaching as a practice has been used to facilitate personal and professional growth. However, many of the basic concepts of coaching can also be used to positively influence the culture of an organization. The purpose of this article is to describe how executive coaching was used with a senior nurse leader who then implemented sustained organizational change, re-engaged frontline staff, and affected culture in a positive manner.
