Abstract
In today's health care environment, the characteristics and content of leadership are changing dramatically. Current leaders must be creative, innovative, and highly adaptive to the critical and substantial changes affecting health care. Many of these changes require a shift in process and practice, creation of new cultures, and adjusting clinical behaviors to set an increasingly technology-based framework for practice.1
