Abstract
RésuméLes auteurs rapportent l’observation d’une femme de 69 ans insuffisante rénale chronique stade 5. La survenue d’un état de dénutrition a contribué à l’indication de la mise en dialyse. Le mode de renutrition et la surveillance nutritionnelle sont discutés au cours de son évolution marquée notamment par un épisode catabolique intense.
The authors report the case of a 69-year old woman with stage-5 chronic kidney disease. The occurrence of protein-energy wasting contributed to the decision of initiating haemodialysis. The methods of nutritional monitoring and treatment are discussed regarding to patient's evolution, which was marked by a catabolic episode.
