Abstract
As an occupational physician, this study highlights the need to prevent employees exposed to biomechanical risk factors and in particular those who already had an inguinal hernia. Further studies are however needed to know if the occupational physician should retrain professionally a worker with a history of inguinal hernia, in order to avoid the risk of recurrence of inguinal hernia.
