Abstract
While screening modalities and regulation concerning the use of alcohol in the workplace have not recently known major modifications, oral fluid testing, whose performances have improved, generalizes to the detriment of screening urine because it is simple to perform and more respectful of the personal intimacy. CCNE recognizes the oral fluid testing as acceptable ethically and has it on in his favor, while various regulatory texts gravitating towards strengthening preventive measures. So many uncertainties still persist regarding the status of screening, making it sometimes difficult to decide the position of the occupational practitioner.
