Abstract
Thus, the survey shows how central work is as a protective or destabilizing element when dealing with mental and physical health. The “work” situational interview with its various components should be developed not only in the context of suicidal patients but also of any patient involved in a professional activity. Its aim is not only to let the interviewee verbalize his/her personal work-history involving possible difficulties and/or health promoting factors, but also to promote individual and collective suicide prevention awareness actions.
