Abstract
The authors propose the systematic implementation of collective protection means for the operators' feet and lens in interventional cardiology. They suggest the categorization of cardiologists and nurses in A and B categories respectively. Area delineation requires the compulsory wearing of passive and operational dosimeters to access the operating room during procedures.
