Abstract
This French version will now be submitted to a quantitative assessment in order to ensure that the translated questionnaire has retained its psychometric qualities: reliability, consistency and stability over time. The QEESI© can serve several purposes: (1) in a clinical setting, it may be used to evaluate IEI patients' self-reported environmental intolerances and symptoms, or to document responses to treatment. It may also help occupational physicians for workplace investigations in case of acute accidental exposures initiating mass psychogenic illness; (2) in a research setting, it can be used to select cases and controls, or to evaluate therapeutic proposals.
