Abstract
The biped verticality of humans is specific. It depends on highly specialised sensors. The foot interprets the ground through its mechanic receptors, the internal ear integrates the position and the head movements in space, the skin describes the form of our trunk + members at a given moment, the muscle-skeletal ensemble permits the balance and motricity whilst analysing the movement so as to foresee, organise, control, modify or refine it. Sight and notably ocular motricity play an essential part in regulating the posture of the walking biped primate. Perturbation of the visual sensor will imply an adaptive corporal strategy source of tendon and muscle tension. This excess of subconscious neuromuscular work rapidly results in pain, articular decentralisation and finally early skeletal damage.
