Abstract
The search for a visual field in a child can be difficult because it requires the child's attention, concentration and motivation. Before the age of 5, the visual field remains qualitative and can be assessed using simple methods. For the older, wilful child, the visual field can be quantitative and more precise using the perimeters. We should adapt our research according to the context since the results obtained often participate in the medical diagnosis and help to orient the project of orthoptic care.
