Abstract
Mrs E., aged 70, consults for a diplopia that is a daily disruption in her active life. Orthoptic management of the problem will specify the elements, assist diagnosis and medical treatments, whilst taking into account the functional signs. Prism correction will play an essential part pre and postoperatively in relief for this patient.
