Abstract
A representation of the whole of the body exists (including the brain and the sensory organs) in the pinna of both ears. Auriculotherapy is an alternative form of medicine based on the stimulation of the auricular points. It is an ideal technique for polysensorial rehabilitation because it stimulates, in a non invasive manner, the centres of convergence of the sensorial routes, that is to say, the reticular formation, the thalamus and the associative cortex.
