Prise en charge de la polyarthrite rhumatoïde en médecine physique réadaptation : expérience en Tunisie

Rheumatoid arthritis is a destructive arthritis of the joints. Spontaneous functional prognosis is quickly involved. The rehabilitation and the joint reeducation were among the treatments proposed. Its main objectives are the treatment of pain and inflammation, prevention and control of deformations, maintenance or recovery of mobility and joint stability, maintaining trophicity muscle aerobic capacity and adaptation to the evolution of disability. The pre-therapeutic evaluation is essential and must be multidisciplinary. It includes a clinical examination and para-clinical explorations. Physical treatments involve techniques of rehabilitation and rehabilitation including physiotherapy, occupational therapy, instrumentation, and environmental management and changing habits of the patient and his entourage. This support must be adapted to our Tunisian society and our material resources.
