Abstract
Neuropsychology is a scientific and clinical subject that aims to study the relationship between superior mental function and cerebral structures. Rehabilitation theories and program evolutions allows the identification, evaluation, and promotion of restoring cognitive functional capacities. This evolution also acts on behavior distortions of patients with brain injury. A fitted therapeutic project and specific rehabilitation support are to be initialized with the patient. This article first studies rehabilitation as related to health, and secondly as related to medico-social issues in the context of individual and group therapeutic follow-up. The stakes of rehabilitation are major for patients who aspire to a normal life in an ordinary world, a goal which is not easily given up on. Patients attest of this difficult journey.
