Abstract
Neuromas intra spinal neuromas developing next to the medullary cone are uncommon. Their association with osteoporosis is exceptional. We report the case of a neuroma associated with osteoporosis and a deficiency in 25OH vitamin D3. This association has been mentioned in literature. The mechanism is explained by tumor secretion of substances that interfere with calcium metabolism. The relation of cause and effect between the neuroma and osteoporosis requires more clarification.
