Abstract
The objective of this study is to measure the length of in-patient stay in a physical therapy medical center in France by patients whose lower limbs had been amputated. We will compare them to international data. We conduct a retrospective study of the medical files. One hundred and thirty patients with artery-related amputations were admitted from December 2010 to August 2013. The results show that the average stay is 141.4 days. The French and international data are sparse and comparing them to international data proves difficult. The healthcare systems are so diverse from one country to the other.
