Abstract
Amblyopia is defined by various typologies: organic amblyopia, functional amblyopia but also mixed amblyopia which associates the two. It is also qualified as relative or absolute and quantified as mild, average or severe. Amblyopia is a disorder of the fovea function, but can also be due to an anomaly of the peripheral retina. It can be monocular or binocular.
