Abstract
All studies and national inquiries had demonstrated vulnerability of disabled people to oral diseases. There are two factors, which can explain this vulnerability. First one is linked to the nature of disability if it concerns oral sphere or not and the degree of autonomy in daily oral hygiene, second one concerns late discovery of these oral diseases. The seriousness of these factors leads to emergency care decisions (anarchic dental extractions) responsible of more dependency, aesthetic damage, which are additional limits to social integration for disabled people. This “overhandicap” could be avoided if all caring actors work together to promote individual methods for oral prevention means towards disabled people.
