Abstract
Osteoid osteoma is a benign tumor of bone. It affects teenagers and young adults and classically involves the diaphysis of long bones. A juxta-articular case of osteoid osteoma involving the distal epiphysis of the tibia misdiagnosed by magnetic resonance imaging and correctly addressed by computed tomography scan and bone scans is presented. In the present case, because the location of the disease was juxta-articular, arthroscopy was used to remove the tumor. Our results show that this technique can be used in the treatment of such cases.
