Abstract
U–10 wt% Mo alloy powder production is prepared by hydride–dehydride processing. As a result of work it is shown that this method is suitable for preparation of U–10 wt% Mo alloy powder. It provides the production of fuel powder of needed size, structure and phase composition with high efficiency, and the size of U–10 wt% Mo powder is diminished with the degree of activation. At the same time, it is very important to pretreat the U–10 wt% Mo alloy samples. If only the suitable pretreatment technology is adopted, the samples can absorb hydrogen directly and need not through the phase transformation process.
