Abstract
In this contribution we measured the plasma horizontal displacement using the two semi-empirical techniques in the IR-T1 tokamak. First, the plasma horizontal position is calculated from the vertical field coil characteristics. The calculation is made focusing on the vertical field coil current and voltage changes due to the horizontal displacement of plasma column. Also a modified Rogowski and Saddle Sine coil based on the multipole moments method were designed, constructed, and used. The results from these two techniques are compared and discussed.
