Abstract
Bi-dimensional sonography has allowed identifying synechia through the visualisation of the endometrium loss on the sagittal plane. Three-dimensional sonograpy has allowed detailing, on the three planes - sagittal, axial and coronal - an exact topography of this substance loss, as well as the medial echo's hyper echoic view of the cavity. Bi- or three-dimensional sonography appears as the “gold standard” to visualise the water flow between the synechia and the cavity fundus, especially at the ostias' level. During operations, sonography allows the surgeon to visualise the intra-cavity tools, and to reach safely the ostias' level, in case of corporeal synechia.
