Abstract
Sonography at day three of the menstrual cycle is mandatory during infertility work-up. It allows planning of treatment options through the evaluation of the ovarian reserve. The examination includes antral follicule count, examination of the uterus and adnexa in order to identify infertility factors that might modify the treatement or the prognosis of the patient. Using 3D imaging methods increases the sensitivity of ultrasound particularly to analyse the uterus. The method using SonoAVC to measure the antral follicule count seems promising but requires further studies for validation of the technique.
