Abstract
A one-dimension-in-space and three-dimension-in-velocity Particle-In-Cell Monte Carlo collision model plus a plasma–surface interaction module is applied to investigate the waves in divertor plasma. Sufficient evidence substantiates that the low frequency wave belongs to the lower hybrid wave. By varying the incident angle and strength of the magnetic field, the effects of magnetic field on the low frequency wave and the erosion rate are also studied.
