Abstract
The Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) conference included a number of important educational and scientific sessions on the breast. This article summarizes the main topics discussed during the last conference held in Chicago in November, 2007. The scientific results of tomosynthesis and an educational review of the place of MRI in screening high-risk patients are explained. State-of-the-art papers on breast biopsies, MRI-guided biopsy guidelines, and several prospective studies on the follow-up of patients with biopsied papillary lesions were detailed in the section on breast interventions.
