Abstract
The intracranial teratoma is the most common congenital brain tumor. Its prenatal diagnosis may be detected on imaging data but its confirmation remains histological. We report the case of an intracranial teratoma with a prenatal diagnosis, detected in the imaging data (prenatal ultrasound and magnetic resonance imaging [MRI]) and confirmed by the histopathological examination after a therapeutic abortion. Through this observation, the authors draw attention to the radiological specificities of this tumor and the importance of screening and early diagnosis to determine the prognosis and guide the therapeutic management.
