Abstract
To show the main magnetic resonance (MR) sequences, explore adnexal pelvic pathology, and detail the value of each sequence for diagnosis. Pelvic MR imaging for adnexal pathology must include anatomical morphological sequences with sagittal and axial abdominopelvic T2-weighted TSE sequences and axial T1-weighted sequences with and without fat suppression. Sequences after gadolinium chelate IV injection can be used to evaluate tissue perfusion (dynamic contrast-enhanced sequence and EG T1 after injection). Analysis of anatomical lesion location and their signal uptake allows image interpretation along diagnostic pathways.
