Abstract
Imaging is a determining element in monitoring breast cancer after surgical and medical treatment as are the clinical examination and complementary examinations. Thorough knowledge of the normal modifications of the breast according to various imaging methods is essential to better identifying recurrence. The ability to detect recurrence as early as possible requires rigorous technique and recourse, at the slightest doubt, to complementary techniques (MRI, core biopsies). Imaging can also evaluate the effectiveness of treatment for possible adjustment of these treatments according to the observed results.
