Abstract
Ectopic pregnancy has always to be thought about in women in age of procreating because of increased morbidity and mortality of this pathology. Clinical examination, BHCG and pelvic ultrasound are essential to make the diagnosis but also to decide what is the best treatment option for these patients. The sonographic signs of ectopic pregnancy are illustrated. In case of uncertain diagnosis, MRI can help to characterize the adnexial masses or to precise unusual localizations of ectopic pregnancy.
