Abstract
Carcinoma of the uterine cervix is the most frequent gynecological malignancy in women less than 50 years of age. Treatment efficacy relies on accurate initial staging. MRI is the best cross-sectional imaging modality to assess tumor location and size, parametrial invasion and nodal involvement. The imaging work-up for cervical carcinoma will be reviewed in this article.
