Abstract
Liposarcoma of the breast are malignant tumours representing less than 0.3% of breast cancers. They develop from interlobular stromal tissue and there is no known risk factor of this type of cancer. The clinical and radiological characteristics are not specific and could suggest a benign lesion. Management of breast liposarcoma is not consensual; nevertheless, surgery is the base of the treatment. In this article, we describe a new observation in a 34-year-old young woman, revealed by a breast tumour with a benign aspect and an unfavourable evolution, and review the literature on this affection.
