Abstract
Routine screening for breast cancer has led to a significant increase in breast biopsies. The validation of a histological result is a major step in the management of patients; the correlation of radiological and histological images is essential to adequate care. In addition, it is an obligation of the French Society of Radiology (SFR) 2013. When receiving the result, the radiologist must ensure that it is consistent with the anomaly biopsied breast screening. It is not always possible, for organizational reasons, to share the results during a multidisciplinary meeting; so it is important to use tools to “speak the same language” among actors in different specialties; the European classification of breast biopsies perfectly meets this need.
