Abstract
The differential diagnosis of a red breast in a patient should include infectious causes and inflammatory cancers. We report here the case of a hemodialysed patient, who presented with an inflammatory breast disorder, linked to the development of a collateral venous circulation because of a subclavian and vena cava thrombosis. The red breast disappeared a few weeks after venous angioplasty was performed.
