Abstract
Fat percentages were 4% according to Faulkner and 2.7% according to Carter, while the muscular percentage was 2.3% greater in boys than in girls. Mesomorphic and ectomorphic somatotypes were more frequent in boys than in girls, who more frequently showed an endomorphic somatotype. However, both sexes showed a predominance of mesomorphy with respect to the other two components.
