Abstract
Intraosseus lipoma is a benign musculo-skeletal injury. This lesion is usually asymptomatic, with unclear etiology. Imaging techniques such as magnetic resonance imaging and computed tomography are essential for the diagnosis and classification of these injuries. The present article describes the case of a professional basketball player with an intracalcaneus lipoma, which was detected radiologically during medical examination before the player was signed up. The follow-up of this player is also described.
