Abstract
We report the case of a 24-year-old man who participated in high-level biketrials. During an event, the patient suffered an unusual rupture of the Latissimus dorsi muscle due to an indirect mechanism. Conservative treatment produced good results with no functional sequelae. Cosmetically, the patient showed an alteration in muscular contour during contraction. On palpation, muscular coverage, which would have been noted in normal conditions, was lacking. A review of the literature shows that Latissimus dorsi injury is scarcely reported in the literature.
