Abstract
The subcapsular hematoma of the liver is a rare and very serious complication of pregnancy that occurs in a context of preeclampsia associated with a HELLP syndrome. It is associated with a high mortality or morbidity rate. An early diagnosis before the break point of the hematoma and a multidisciplinary proper care is mandatory. We report three cases of subcapsular hematoma ruptured liver collected at maternity ward of the hospital Al Farabi: two with favorable evolution and one with maternal death, while insisting on the different therapeutic options ranging from a simple liver capsule suture to a liver transplantation.
