Abstract
This footbridge is formed by a 70.7Â m long balcony beam, fixed to both projecting walls at either end. The flying beam is constructed of a steel-concrete composite semi-circular section 1.45Â m thick. The abutments, the massive concrete pieces, are used as counterweights to anchor the structure to the terrain and gracefully achieve the geometrical and structural transition between the terrain and twin projecting walls.
