Intérêt d’un index baryté œsogastrique en préopératoire pour la prévention d’une inhalation chez les patients porteurs d’un anneau gastrique. À propos de deux cas

RésuméNous rapportons un cas d’inhalation à l’induction de l’anesthésie pour une chirurgie plastique chez une patiente porteuse d’un anneau gastrique avec stase œsophagienne. Chez une deuxième patiente nous avons retrouvé en période préopératoire une stase œsogastrique due à un étranglement de la poche gastrique par l’anneau de gastroplastie. Le desserrage de l’anneau gastrique a permis une anesthésie sans incident.

We report the case of a female patient with gastric band who had aspiration pneumonia after anaesthetic induction for a plastic surgery. In another similar case, we discovered preoperatively, oesogastric stasis with gastric strangulation. After deflation of the gastric band the anaesthetic procedure was uneventful.
