Abstract
Conclusion: Isoflurane did not exacerbate diastolic dysfunction in patients with concentric hypertrophy and ischemic heart disease. In contrast, isoflurane led to a “normalization” of the relaxation pattern that was attributed to a reduction in left-ventricular loading conditions.
