Abstract
Created since about 15 years now, the medicopsychological emergency cells widely contributed to introduce and to develop the premature and appropriate care for victims of psychotraumatic events. Thus, psychotraumatology professionals, inspired by the work of the military psychiatry and disaster medicine, were able to fit out over the years real tools of immediate and post-immediate intervention to the persons exposed to the threat of post-traumatic stress disorder. It is henceforth advisable to return on the acquired experience of these teams and on the organization of the medicopsychological urgency through the symptoms of the PTSD, the concepts of victims and involved as well as the establishment of early emergency devices primarily based on defusing and debriefing techniques.
