Abstract
We report three cases of acute endosulfan self-poisoning (Techn'ufan®). This fat-soluble insecticide is neurotoxic, lead to generalized convulsions and death by hypoxic cardiac arrest in all cases. Moreover, it has a toxic action on several vital functions, such as the liver or the hematopoetic tissue leading to multiple organ failure, which caused the death of two of our patients. The third had a favorable outcome despite a severe initial state. He did not show any after effects of cerebral functions. Treatment is only supportive. There is no antidote.
