Abstract
⺠The phantom sensations were mainly more agonizing than the phantom pain. ⺠Phantom phenomena were not described as a hindrance. ⺠The attitudes of hindrance were related to pain-producing situation as whole. ⺠This individual approach to the phenomena constituted a process of selection and evaluation. ⺠Hence, understanding of the phantom phenomena should include sociocultural aspects.
