Abstract
Anatomy is the single most important factor in making peripheral nerve blocks successful, regardless of the technique (ie, nerve stimulator or ultrasound). We present here a review of those aspects of upper extremity anatomy that we consider relevant for safe and successful performance of nerve blocks.
