Abstract
A complete knowledge of the anatomy of the lumbosacral plexus and its anatomical relationships with the different structures of the human body is fundamental to the regional anesthesiologist in performing successful blockade. We present here an up-to-date review of the pertinent anatomy of the lumbar and sacral spine.
