Abstract
Neurostimulation is a powerful technique used to treat a multitude of chronic painful conditions. Its effectiveness continues to expand with technologic advances. As with any interventional procedure, complications have been identified. These complications are broadly divided into biological and hardware-related. The goal of this paper is to review these complications and to outline strategies to prevent and manage them.
