Abstract
SummaryMorbidly obese patients are at increased risk of respiratory complications, appropriate management of these patients prevents perioperative respiratory complications. Some aspects of respiratory physiology, posture, ventilatory management including mechanical ventilation and Non-invasive ventilation (NIV), drugs related to respiratory function, and chest physiotherapy will be reviewed to manage these patients properly.
